Introduction

Hi there! Welcome to Main Street Mousery's web page. I guess you want to know a little about me huh? Well here we go.... My name is Jessie, I am located in Manchester, MD, USA. I have raised a bazillion different animals from scaley to feathered to furred and of course your usual farm animals. Guess you could say im a bit of an animal enthusiast. I currently own 2 ferrets, a ball python, and about 10 mice. Finally the reason why you all are here! Mice, well i decided to get my snake and of course he eats mice, duh!. But i used to buy my mice 5 at a time when i fell in love with a cute little cream male who accidentally ended up in the feeder bin. His name went from Lunch to Vanilla (thanks to my boyfriend, Matt). Well i started adding to my collection, quietly, as Matt didnt want any more pets... SHHH! Anywho I got a breeding buck and a couple more does and had an "oopsie"  wink* wink* The truth did come out that i had planned it all along and now i am able to share them with you.

What I Raise

I raise Shorthair. And on occasion if it pops up Satin, Satin Angora, Angora fancy mice. Shorthair is your typical petshop style mouse, the only thing fancy being well the mouse and the color. Satin is a shorthair with a high sheen to it to make its fur shine. Angora is pretty much a shorthair with a shag hair do. And of course Satin Angora being a shorthair shag with a of shine to it.  I am a small scale breeder so I don't always have mice in stock so you might have to wait until I have a litter or two. And I cant always guarantee I will get certain sexes in any litter.

When do I have mice available?

I am trying to have mice available in limited quantities each month. I am as I stated small scale. I feel smaller numbers leads to better care and better attention ability. So I can handle all of them and not have any little maniacs that act as bad as the petstore mice. If you have a certain type or color you are looking for feel free to leave me a message on the contact me page. Please state what type, color, and sex you are looking for and i will try my best to get that color for you. Please keep in mind I will not be able to pull what you want out of thin air so you may have to wait a little bit.

Mouse Terms:

Self- Solid color
Pied- White with color spots
Buck- Male Mouse
Doe- Female Mouse
Carrier- Mouse May throw what is carried in litters (pied carrier- mouse doesnt show pied markings but may have pied babies)
PEW/ BEW- Pink Eyed Whie/ Black Eyed Whte
FH- Fuzzy Hairless
HL- Hairless
